General rifle season starts the third week of October. We guide two hunts, limiting each trip to six hunters. Our day starts before the sun comes up and continues well into the dark of night. Good glasses and warm clothes are essential. We ride horseback from camp to different lookout points, hunting in a spot-and-stalk manner. Hunting is done at 7,000 - 10,000 feet in elevation, in awe-inspiring country that makes you realize how Montana got the name “Big Sky Country.”

Ride in, evening hunt. 5 full days. Morning hunt and ride out. Guided hunt includes transportation from and to Bozeman, three homecooked meals a day, comfortable sleeping in heated tents, and 2 hunters per guide on each hunt.

We limit this hunt to 4 hunters and hunt only during the rut. It is booked according to moon phase, to give you more opportunity of seeing more animals and a bigger, better, quality of bucks. The working cattle ranch I lease is an exclusive lease with lodging provided. I only take 4 bucks off it a year. This hunt was started
